How It All Began
It all started with a dog…
It’s a heavy day when your dog is hurt, and worse when you cant work out what the problem is.
When Maevin (Pony sized super pooch) was poisoned, we were faced with having to raise emergency funds fast.
But that was just the beginning… within a week, our car was stolen with Tim’s professional camera equipment worth over $16,000, and our main source of income.
We put our heads together and decided to turn a small private hobby, selling quality discount surfboards and SUPs to friends, into a real live business venture.
Turns out our dark clouds had a silver lining after all!
Maevin made a full recovery and is now the star of the show, and The Surfboard Warehouse was born!
