Burleigh point on fire

by Avalon on November 19, 2011

The above photo was shot this morning at around 2am from the family home over looking Burleigh beach. After Tim shot this a huge snake slithered across his foot. It was chasing food running from the fire. It ended up scaring him off a 2m ledge onto his face. Now sporting a black eye he looks he has been mugged by Burleigh rocks!

With the onset of late afternoon summer storms just around the corner, we hold our breath in anticipation for those brisk South winds that flow through and follow the aftermath.

As we draw nearer to Santa’s big day we should start noticing a significant change in our weather system and the demise of these horrible northerly “devil winds”. Tim has constantly got his finger to the pulse of web worlds modern weather charts and swell predictions.

Bring on the south winds and epic conditions to come!
