Product Description

The Sea Plane mk II has proven itself to be a solid performer in a variety of wave conditions.

We have worked alongside 2x World Champion, Beau Young, to create another mind-blowing board called the “Sea Plane”, which combines traditional logging with rail-to-rail surfing. This board is the brainchild of Beau’s longboard knowledge and gives you the best of both worlds, with a vintage style log that also performs when you want to surf on the rail in the pocket.

The Sea Plane features a forgiving outline, double stringer and rounded timber chock tail that creates stability whilst walking to the nose and increase control and stability through turns. The low and continuous rocker allows for lower resistance and maximum speed when paddling into waves, but has enough lift to keep the nose out of the water when required.

With a concave nose running to a hull like V shape bottom, combined with a medium to low rail, this board delivers what every vintage log demands. The low refined rails hold whilst trimming, while still maintaining responsiveness and the ability to roll onto a rail through turns.

The Sea Plane is an elegant and sophisticated wave catching machine.

Best suited for Beginners to Experienced users who want to increase their wave count

So fast and good with toes on the nose. Thanks warehouse

  2. Great longboard

Posted by A happy customer on 6th Apr 2018

Took my new 9 4 Seaplane out for its first session yesterday in 2 to 4 foot clean reef break and l was stoked. I am 75kg 179cm intermediate skill on a longboard and it was a great cross between traditional and performance. Every bit as good if not better than my previous board a 9 6 McTavish Fireball and a third of the price. I snapped the Fireball hence the Seaplane. Highly recommend. The pics don't do the board justice as the double stringers are visible so it looks better than I thought it would.

  3. Surfed well!

these guys have excellent service. the product is good value and finished pretty well. have surfed it a couple of times in beachie closeouts. So apart from paddling really it has not had a proper glide. Will come back and let you know how it goes. The cover and leash are great value.

  6. Beautiful Board

This is my first Long Board, and I am totally in love. The board arrived within 3 working days. The board is smooth in the water and so much fun.

  7. Light and easy

Posted by John on 16th Apr 2016

I've owned this board for 4 months now, and it wasn't love at first stroke. It took awhile for me to find the sweet spot when paddling to take off, and I regularly buried the nose on take off, and started going back to my other boards. Since finding the sweet spot for take off I've quickly moved on to enjoying the ride. The seaplane turns surprisingly tight and light, with full roundhouse cutbacks the most fun. Overall a good board at a good price.
