Product Description

The 2017 Aquatic Social Scene Devocean mini mal / mid length board combines classical design with progressive surfing. The Devocean series offer all the bells and whistles that you would usually find in a high performance shortboard / longboard. With the introduction of an adjustable fin box and stabilizers, the new 2017 models are something special with new traditional resin tints, as well as the specialised wooden tail blocks that make these boards the best in the business.

These boards are constructed from high-grade materials and offer large single-to-double concaves combined with a performance vee through the fin area. The extra volume under your chest makes this board paddle like a long board and get you into virtually any wave. We have pulled in the rounded pin tail of this board to increase lift through turns and loosen it right up. The Devocean mini mal is not only perfect to learn on, but also perfect to fine tune your progressive surfing skills after you have taken those initial steps. Check out 2x World Champion Beau Young riding this board the way it was intended to be in the video on the right.

  1. Value for money

Had my first surf on this board last weekend. It's a great mini mal. It has a really nice shape and rails. Also not too thick. Great to ride and super responsive. And it's very good quality for the money.

  2. Great value mini mal

Got an 8 footer. Board arrive really quick and in good condition. A tad heavy but nice solid construction. Paddles well and catches waves easily once you get it up to speed. Bit of a log in the really small stuff (1 foot) but lots of fun in 2 - 3 foot summer slop. Rides over flat spots easily and generates speed when you need it. Would be epic on a nice long point break.
