  1. Vanquish after a Zephyr

Posted by Ian on 17th Jun 2019

Bought a Zephyr a few years ago for summer slop and used it as my go to board tried it as a thruster for a bit but found it excelled as a quad.
I’m a older bloke 55 and suffer from from a hard life of body abuse and these shorter hybrid style boards are great for catching plenty of waves and keeping you feeling younger
The new Vanquish 6’2” I received a couple of weeks ago is another little ripper had a good session at one of my favourite bar breaks last week and I am happy with it and am keen to try it as a quad next swell.
These boards are good value for money and so far my experience with them is nothing but positive and the packaging and service is spot on

  2. Great board for aging body in small waves

    Posted by T-Dog on 30th Mar 2019

I needed a board that would surf the typical 1 to 2ft quality reefs or 1 - 3ft gutless beach breaks that is the common conditions locally. I have a 8ft mal and 7ft mini-mal and just get frustrated with them a bit after surfing short boards all my life. The 6'6 vanquish has fit the brief perfectly, it catches waves super easy, its surprisingly fast and fluid on the wave and all round has just meant that my overall enjoyment level surfing in these conditions has been maximised. I would love to surf a shorter version to see how this would perform in some decent waves. But have been very happy with the board and the value.
