Wayne 'Rabbit' Bartholomew's Free Ride series was inspired by a blend of past gems fuzed with modern versions of high performance rockers, rails and the option for multi fin set ups.
"The 6’2” was my step up back in the day and now is my high performance shortboard when the waves are firing. The 6’6” inspired by a Tom Parrish Board I Rode at Off the Wall in the movie Free Ride which was a classic! My 6’10” was inspired by one of my favourites I rode on the Superbank, which was great in hollow waves and still turns on a dime, and the 7’2” inspired by both my favourite mini guns! I would ride at Big Kirra and Backdoor.
The 6’10” and 7’2” have the added Volume for the surfers who want to compete for waves in crowded line ups yet still have that turning edge of a 6’4”
I wanted to make a board that catered to all guys who have the urge to rip into critical sections but still won't leave you behind the progressive pack!"
Best suited for Intermediate to Experienced user who want power and performance without sacrificing float and forgiveness.
