Returns policy & process
At The Surfboard Warehouse, we are committed to providing high-quality products and a positive shopping experience. Please review the following returns policy before making a purchase.
Clearance Products
All clearance items and sale products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind. This includes situations where an item is no longer required, the incorrect item was selected, or you decide you no longer want the product after purchase. Please ensure you carefully consider your selection before completing your order.
Boards
We do not offer refunds, exchanges or store credits for change-of-mind purchases of surfboards, SUPS, ISUPS, bodyboards and skimboards - including final sale (EOFY, Clearance) boards.
This includes situations where the item is no longer required, the wrong item was selected, or you decide you no longer want the product after purchase. Please take the time to carefully consider your selection before completing your purchase.
Giftvouchers
Purchased gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
Accessories & Wetsuits
Accessories and wetsuits may be returned for exchange for size or fit within 14 days of the original purchase date for store credit or exchange only. Refunds are not offered for change-of-mind purchases.
EOFY and clearance accessories or wetsuits are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item is faulty or does not meet Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
For wetsuit and accessory exchanges, please email support@tsbw.com.au with your invoice number and name and advise us which size wetsuit you would like to exchange for and let us know the warehouse you will be sending the product back to. We will provide a Return Authorisation number please attach to the return so we can identify it, if this is not attached we may not be able to locate it and your return may fail.
It’s always vital to share the tracking number with us so we can also monitor the return. We will help to arrange the exchange via email.
Store credit applies to the returned item(s) only and does not include shipping costs. For wetsuit and accessory exchanges, a shipping fee of $10–$30 we may apply to cover the cost of sending the replacement item. The exact amount depends on your location and the size of the product.
Conditions:
- Must have proof of purchase (receipt or ordernumber)
- Items must be unused, in original condition and include all original packaging
Please note, we do not offer direct exchanges. Instead, you can place a new order and email us at support@tsbw.com.au to let us know you'd like to exchange. Once we receive your return, we will then refund the cost of the original product.
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product is faulty, defective or not fit for its intended purpose. If your item has a fault or issue, we will work with you to resolve the problem. Please refer to our warranty policy and process page.
How to make a return
To return a product, contact us for a Return Authorisation number and advise us the tracking details

Please include a note stating:
- Your order number
- Your name and email address
- Reason for return
Store credit will only be issued after inspection and approval by The Surfboard Warehouse. Cash or card refunds are not available under any circumstances. We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet the above conditions or fall outside our policy guidelines.
Store credits apply to the returned item(s) only and do not cover shipping costs.
